Want to Change Your Life? Want to start EMPOWERING yourself TODAY?
Two words.
Two small, simple words.
Just start.
That’s it.
Yes, it’s that simple. Read it again.
But there’s a little more to it. Here’s HOW to make it count and work it to CHANGE YOUR LIFE… Here’s the key..
Here’s things you can do TODAY to EMPOWER yourself and make positive changes in your life.
1. Just start. While this isn’t the ENTIRE equation, and is not a 100% guarantee, it is better than the alternative. What IS guaranteed – without this crucial step, it is CERTAIN you will fail. So, what is it that you want? You have to know this. To reach your goal and attain success, you don’t need to know all the answers in advance, but you do have to have a clear ides of what your goal is! Crystallize your goals. That’s your first place to start.
2. One Step At A Time. Don’t begin at the end. Remember, your success starts when you begin to pursue it. Not when you’re done. Part of the magic is in the pursuing. And that, sometimes, means dividing your big plan into small steps. Small steps add up to big change. So, today, look at your goals and do AT LEAST one thing. You can do 10, but do at least one. Sometimes we tend to think we have to make major change in our lives, but in reality major changes are the result of a series of small steps. Reinforce this belief today, ingrain this in your thinking. This provides huge power.
3. Take a chance. Get out of your comfort zone!! Do something today that makes you uncomfortable! One of my favorites quotes and something I live by: Life begins at the end of your comfort zone! And, as the great entrepreneur and trailblazer, Mary Kay Ash, said, “Most people live and die with their music unplayed. They never dare to try.” Today, take the dare! Get uncomfortable.
So, remember: everyone who ever got where they are had to begin where they were. Your big opportunity is where you are right now. So we build upon a series of successes in life. But where did it begin? What began the series of successes?
The first step. Which brings us back to two words.
